LANGUAGE
Manuscripts can either in Malay, English or Arabic.
FORMATTING
All manuscripts must be written in MS Word with the following specification:
Font: Century Gothic, size 11 (only tables and figures can use size 10);
Margin: 2.54 cm or 1 inch all round;
Spacing: Single spacing and justified
Quotations of Quranic verses or hadis texts:
In text referencing of Quranic verses should mention the name of Surah, followed by the chapter numbers and the verse numbers; e.g. (Al-Baqarah, 2: 250). As for hadith texts, reference is to be made to the hadis source, followed by the name of Kitab, then chapter and hadith number; e.g., (Sahih al-Bukhari, Kitab.…, Bab.…, No.…).
Tables and figures should be included within the text of the paper and must be numbered according to its subsequence; e.g Table 1: Demographic Data, Figure 1: Standard of Procedure.
REQUIREMENT
All articles must bear the title, main author’s and subsequent authors’ name (identifying who is the corresponding author) and full contact details (institutional address and e-mail) of each author. Title in English is required if the article is written in Malay or Arabic (Kindly refer to the template).
Abstract (180-250 words) should include the following: aim, method, results and conclusion. The abstract must be written in Century Gothic and font size 10. Abstract in English is required if the article is written in Malay or Arabic.
Keywords up to 5, Century Gothic and font size 10.
The length of each article must not exceed 6000 words, or approximately 12 pages.
REFERENCES
References should follow the referencing style used by the American Psychological Association (APA) in alphabetical order. All sources cited in the paper must be included in the References section. Please refer to this link: http://www.apastyle.org/
References should be placed in alphabetical order at the end of the paper and should be in Roman script. Footnotes should be avoided (except for clarification purposes). When an author’s name appears in the text, the date should follow in brackets, e.g. (Fakhri, 2015), or Fakhri (2015), or where there is reference to a particular page or quotation, e.g. Fakhri (2015: 25).
